BRAVO is the Ballet Resource and Volunteer Organization - a group of more than 200 ballet enthusiasts whose support is vital to the on-going operation of San Francisco Ballet. Its members donate over 10,000 volunteer hours every year to SF Ballet.

In addition to supporting the operation of the Ballet, BRAVO provides opportunities to meet some of the staff and dancers and have a lot of fun! You are required to fill out the on-line application that includes supplying two personal or professional references (non-family members), with the understanding that BRAVO will contact your references and also will complete a check of the Megan’s Law List.
After you complete the application, you will be contacted about attending a meeting for prospective members. These sessions are scheduled irregularly throughout the year depending on need, but most are held in the fall and early winter. The session gives you a chance to learn more about BRAVO, gives us a chance to meet you, and helps us both confirm that BRAVO volunteering is right for you.
The purpose of the application process is to evaluate, fairly and respectfully, whether applicants are suited to volunteer for San Francisco Ballet. You will be notified after the meeting whether or not you are accepted into BRAVO.
